“A Transparent Day” (2024, oil on canvas, 40x60) was painted in Lithuania one December morning, in the gentle, silent atmosphere that precedes Christmas. The winter light streamed through the window with an almost spiritual clarity, gliding delicately over the orchid petals. I wanted to capture this fragile moment, this inner calm where light seems to open up an intimate space. For me, this work is a memory of peace, of gratitude – a little winter miracle captured on canvas.
"Dialogue" (2024, oil on canvas, 40x60) was born as a silent conversation between two bouquets of flowers. My favourite flowers, delicate orchids and vigorous, vibrant gladioli, seemed to truly communicate with each other: two sensibilities, two energies that listen to and complement each other. I sought to capture this delicate harmony, this quiet strength that arises from their encounter.
